Eric and I went to see the last program of this year's NYC Bicycle Film Festival, which consisted of two Keirin-themed films. The final was a Japanese feature from 1956 called Keirin Queen. It was unusual because there were parts that seemed to be progressive with feminist undertones but it felt like a B-movie. There was probably a lot lost in translation, but it was a fun time nevertheless.

Also, the Joyride Artshow at Collective Hardware (169 Bowery) has been extended. Go see it!
