It's been a hectic but awesome week.  I got to hang out with three of my best friends, all of whom live very far away and therefore I don't see much of at all anymore.  They're all doing some pretty amazing things lately: cooking up something new and exciting for Hawaii cuisine at The Pig and the Lady, designing exhibitions at The Autry, and generally rocking out harder than everyone else I know combined.  All of it made me curse geography and wish that plane rides were faster and cheaper.

I spent some time in Los Angeles, mostly to witness a childhood friend get married.  And of course, to eat in the City of Hamburgers.  I think I had more burgers than non-burgers during my four days there.  The last one, In-N-Out cheeseburger animal-style, of course.  The only appropriate way to leave from LAX.
