There are people who are so masterful at what they do and so poetic in how they see, that it would be completely futile to try to aspire to that level. Eugene Richards is at that level and his vision is certainly unattainable (to me, anyway) but he is also honest and lucid about his work that my own intense doubts about why I make pictures are replaced with feeling inspired to keep doing it. That's pretty major.
